Missy drove in on snow covered
roads from Midland in January 2007 for a weekend beadaway. What a
brave soul.
A dental hygienist, Missy had taken
a couple of beginning beadmaking classes prior to her visit, but felt a
one on one lesson would suit her needs.
We first met at the Saginaw Bead
Show last summer, and her love of this art form was apparent.

She brought a pile of beads
she had purchased at bead shows to give me an idea of the kinds of beads
she was attracted to. We then dove in head first and had a great
time laughing and sharing.
Her sense of humor is contagious
and we soon felt as if we'd known each other for a very long time.
When her time was up, she decided
to stay a couple more hours to learn a few more advanced
lessons.
Take a look at her beauties
below! She did a great job, and I'm sure we'll be seeing her on
the circuit in no time! Her encased floral is amazing for a
beginner.
Thanks Missy! I had a grand
time!
