Kelly, or Rev as his congregation and family have nicknamed him, contacted me through Lampwork Etc about coming to learn additional skills at the torch.  He had already had some experience on a hot head, and desired more direction.  

A pastor by day, he has experience in stained glass, graphic design, and a multitude of other skills.  He even brought me the coolest tee shirts he made himself!  I was so surprised and thrilled!  One for each of us!  They say I Torch in bright letters!  Very neat!

After one quick private message through the forum, he plugged his way north and we had a great time!  He's a natural at the torch and I'm sure we'll be seeing more of his work soon!

Chris, What a joy it was to come and learn via your hands-on style!  I especially appreciated your setting up of the mini-cc as you saw that was the torch I had!  The instruction was well worth the time and money, as I view it having saved me multiple hours and research and trials to figure out the many techniques you covered!  It was a pleasure meeting your family too!  Larry, great job cooking (sorry you weren’t feeling better), Big Kenny and Sarah AKA Austin!  The instruction and resource locations and suppliers are invaluable!  I would recommend anyone thinking of lampworking or of improving their skills to take a bead-away weekend in Cadillac!  Thanks again!
