Call for Applications for both Finished Jewelry and Loose Beads

 

  1. Acceptable Wares to Sell:  ALL beads and bead supplies OR ALL Finished Jewelry or any combination.  Finished Jewelry MUST be handmade by the seller.  No buy/sell Finished Jewelry allowed.  No slides need be sent, however, if the show directors believe that the finished jewelry is NOT handmade by the seller, the seller will be asked to leave.
  2. Sellers may sell supplies used to make finished jewelry or crafts.  Kits are also acceptable.
  3. Sellers are responsible for taxes collected on all sales.

A copy of Sellers Tax License MUST be sent back with Application.  You may apply for a one day show sales tax form at: 

Sales Tax for Concessionaires

If you will make retail sales at only one or two events in Michigan per year, do not complete Form 518. Instead, complete Form 2271, Concessionaire's Sales Tax Return and Payment. This form can be found on Treasury's Web site: www.michigan.gov/taxes or by calling 517-636-4660.

  1. Seller MUST be present at sale.
  2. Sellers may NOT leave early or arrive late.
  3. Sellers are responsible for cleaning entire area of any trash in their assigned area.  Liquid drinks MUST be in closed containers.  Any spills MUST be cleaned up immediately.  Any stickers or pins or other materials that may have fallen from jewelry or supplies, MUST be removed from the carpet before your departure.
  4. Sellers MUST have their area checked with coordinators BEFORE immediate departure.
  5. Parking is available all around the school.  Please park to the rear of the parking lot after you are finished unloading to allow space near the building for customers to park.
  6. NO doors may be blocked at ANY time, either while setting up, tearing down or during the show.
  7. Driving on the sidewalk is PROHIBITED!  (If you have a handicap, please state this on your application and accommodations will be made for you)
  8. Payment:  Cost per 8-foot space is $45 for the day.  Payable by check or money order payable to:  Chris Fisher  ALL proceeds will be used for advertising, supplies and future mailings for future shows. 
  9. Set up starts at 6:30 am the morning of the show.  NO early set up.  Doors will be closed and LOCKED at 8:00 am to keep early shoppers out.  Doors for customers will open PROMPTLY at 9:00 am
  10. Each vendor must supply ONE door prize for drawings held throughout the day.
  11. Tables MUST be covered to the floor.
  12. Walls may NOT be drilled for use.
  13. NO candles or other flammables may be used for display.
  14. Smoking is NOT permitted on school grounds.  You MAY smoke in your vehicles, and dispose of your trash in provided containers.
  15. Invertors may be used, but must be in approved containers.
  16. Bring a jacket or coat.  Halls are not heated in public schools.  Space heaters are NOT allowed.
  17. NO STROLLERS ALLOWED!
